Our Story

It all began with the simple idea of selling WiFi internet with a cup of hot tea at street side tea stalls. Such stalls could be found at almost every street corner in Bangladesh. Since the inception of “Wifi Cha”, it has been over 5 years and our knowledge regarding all things related to Wireless Technology has deepened as well as our vision for a Wireless Future has become clearer.

We began our journey while struggling with two great barriers to internet inclusion, very low cable broadband coverage and highly expensive mobile internet. Our goal was to provide affordable and high quality internet to the bottom of the pyramid population of Bangladesh.
